Photography Challenge # 1

So, I know that this piece is not specifically that creative. We were supposed to photograph using one color and it is just a picture of some leaves. But I cannot tell you how happy I am that color is starting to return to our area. I do not mind Winter. In fact, I prefer the cold over the warmth. But when it comes to my photography, I prefer color. I love flowers and nature photography. I like picking up on all the little details on plants.

Also, I have found this semester to be a very difficult one and I have found myself in a pretty dark place more than once. As the season has begun to change, I have really enjoyed seeing the bright blue skies and the trees regaining their vibrance. When I saw these leaves, I said out loud, "Oh wow! Look at how green!" and just had to take the time to sit in the grass and get a few pictures. I did take the image into Photoshop just to bring out the green a little more for this challenge, but even without the editing, the leaves were still very vibrant and I really appreciated them.
