Photo Challenge # 3

Initially I had a totally different idea for how I wanted to approach this challenge. The goal was to create a story with a single image and I wanted to touch on something light and sweet. But while I was in the process of taking some pictures of my friend the other evening, I was really liking the vibe I was getting from the slightly overcast sky. I decided I wanted it to be a little more on the eerie side instead. Because I like spooky stuff every once in a while, so why not? I was taking some pictures of her in this pine tree because I have always wanted to get some pictures of her in some pine trees because I thought her red hair would contrast very nicely against the green trees. While we were taking portraits, she just happened to reach her hand out, to stretch or something, I believe and I just told her, “Wait! Do that again!” and that is how this image came about. She loved it immediately and I also thought that this could be an image that the viewer could easily draw their own conclusions to.

Also, since the prompt stated "a single image", the following images could not be included but I wanted to share them as sort of honorable mentions. My friend and I thought they were so funny and they did in fact appear to tell a story. Anyway, hope you are able to get a kick out of them too.
